Likewise, T commends the delicious chef's choice sushi and the friendliness of the staff, which enhanced their dining experience despite the language barrier.
However, some diners, like Martlet, noted the lack of an English menu and occasional communication difficulties, which can lead to frustration. The food was amazing and the atmosphere magical. Even though most of the menu is not translated (and has no pictures), the waiters were doing their best to help. The chef was happy to have international customers and also offered some gifts! I really recommend having dinner here!
No English menu. Staff was friendly and helpful but limited vocabulary. Ordered the highest priced course. Fresh. Tasty. Nice plating. Portion was small. Ordered another sushi set afterwards but communication breakdown. It's not put through. Kept waiting and eventually we left disappointed. It's very noisy like a market place as other diners spoke too loudly nonstop.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The food was absolutely amazing and we haven’t met a sweeter and more thoughtful people in whole of Japan. Thank you for the experience. Expedice Brno (Czech republic)
My wife and I visited this place for dinner on a Thursday night. The staff were all very welcoming and the food was delicious. We had the chef's choice of sushi, chawanmushi, clam and mushroom soup, and coffee. Despite us knowing only very basic Japanese, we had a great evening. The waitress spoke some English and they also have an English menu. We would love to return again soon. A hidden gem and a step up from your average sushi bar - highly recommended.
Amazing place. Most customers are local. Me and my friend went there everyone was curious where were we from. I said Australia they were amazed chef and staff were friendly sushi was amazing
So happy to have found this place. Deliciously worth it with exceptionally good service. About everything was great tasting - even the chawan and the miso soup!
Food is excellent. We were greeted with very warm hospitality especially by the head chef. We went to the same place twice for our meals as we wanted to enjoy the good food and the warm atmosphere. The head chef took the time to present us a set of mini sushi. It was awesome.
